Learn to Listen

Bangkok, 22-24 January 2009 was the big lesson for me. I've been there with all great people fom great school. Everybody was the leader there. We attend the first workshop on Indonesia-Thailand School Partnership. Everything was set up perfectly. But they were missing one point, the listening ability.
Great people, great occasion, great venue, comes nothing without great listening ability. People often accuse without trying to listen, to understand the point of the speaker said. And I think, this is the biggest disease we've got on our community. It kills every good intention and ruins every hope.
I really have a great expectation on the next workshop, hopefully they come with the willingness of listening to others before making any decision.
Let's make better community with little effort to listen with our heart, soul, and body.

Learning from Each Other

The best teacher is the best student of all ...

It's interesting how people can learn from each other. How they resonate at each other. How they connected at each other... But, this beautiful process can only be done in one condition: If they want to do it!

Accidentally (Teaching) Animation

I am become an animation teacher by accident, even though I believe that there is nothing happen accidentally in this world. But as I drown in this animation world, I think I really into it. I love to see my students excitements, their spirit of learning, their craziness, their extraordinary attitudes, and all that has relation with them. Animation is really something more than fun. Learning how to make animation makes me understand the diversities of art, mixing into one motion show.

By being here, I am shown many things in this world that I've never been thought before. Life unfold its mystery one by one. I am learning to understand others. How to deal with many faces and personalities. And this job, become more exciting for me after I feel that this was no longer a job, but something more important, it is my life. The things that I do. And the bottom line is ... I am learning to give, and only giving. I believe that live is showing itself through me. The lesson that others can learn. The circle that will never end. Circle of life.

The First Time

I am new to this blog things, but as the person who works on education field, I think I should keep my brains rolling into something new, something that keep me in the circle of movement. Sometimes it's not good to depend on information technologies, but it's not bad at all to keep in touch but not stick to it. It's not that I don't want to be called "unsophisticated", but by being here right at this moment means that I just have to be here and do it.

Hopefully, I can share and learn from everything that I do.
